Our Mission

News in a Minute is a one-stop platform to learn about international and business news in byte-sized format while discovering successful student entrepreneurs’ projects. Although news access is not an issue, students often find news sources and articles lengthy and hard to read. This causes students to be unfamiliar with the news and things that are going on in the world. Furthermore, students are frequently given too much reading material and do not have time to read all news stories on topics that interest them. As students find news lengthy and difficult to read, this platform will transform news into an “easy-read” and provide a simplified version of the news to students in order to increase their reading habits.

To encourage more youth discussion on current issues and topics, discussion forums and groups are established on this website as an outlet for opinion exchange and to broaden their knowledge. We hope to foster a sense of community where young students can share their perspectives while gaining insights from each other.
